Ingredients Hot Milk Sponge Cake Recipe with Coconut Topping


  • 4 eggs 
  • 2 cup sugar 
  • 2 tsp, vanilla 
  • 2 cup flour 
  • 2 tsp. baking powder 
  • 1/2 tsp. salt 
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 2 Ttbsp. margarina 
  • Coconut Topping 
  • ½ cup brown sugar 
  • 1/3 cup butter margarine 
  • ¼ cup milk or cream 
  • ½ cup chopped nuts 
  • 1 cup shreded coconut


Directions To Make Hot Milk Sponge Cake Recipe with Coconut Topping


1. In mixing bowl, beat well eggs and add sugar and vanilla, et aside
2. Combine separately flour, baking powder and salt.
3. With a rubber spatula Fol. Dry ingredients into eggmixture.
4. In a small aucepan boil milk and margarine… then add slowly to batter, stirring gently . Pour into well greased and floured 7 x 12 “or 9x9” cake pan. Bake 30 – 35 minutes

Coconut Topping
- Combineall ingredientsand spread on cake and broil fr 2 – 4 minutes until brown.
